Hannah Jensen
Clinical Psychologist
Hannah completed her undergraduate studies and Masters in Clinical Psychology in Western Australia. She has been practicing since 2005.
She has worked in a range of settings, including public health, not for profit organisations, and more recently private practice. Hannah has experience working with adults on a broad range of issues including perinatal mental health - more specifically - fertility, pregnancy, birth, postnatal depression and anxiety, infant mental health, attachment, grief and loss, and transition to parenthood. She also works with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma symptoms, significant life changes, relationship issues and eating disorders.
Hannah uses a range of evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), attachment theory, mindfulness approaches and schema therapy. She tailors the intervention to the individual client and uses a trauma informed approach.
Hannah has a strong commitment to human rights, and previously worked for a number of NGOs and United Nations agencies in the Pacific, Middles East, Africa and Asia.
When not working, Hannah enjoys spending time in the bush, at the beach and in the ocean.
